Our Homestay
Welcome to a haven of relaxation and tranquillity, where you can relax and unwind after a day of exploration and wonder. Our three-bedroom Homestay offers personalised service to a high standard whether you are visiting for leisure or business. Our rooms are continuously maintained and come with a private ensuite, universal and USB sockets.
People and culture
Madonnina is a family-run homestay. This enables us to give individualised attention to each of our guests and ensure that their stay is a memorable one. The homestay is mainly operated by Anna, her daughter Marianna, and her son Tonio, all of whom possess extensive experience in the hospitality industry.
Anna
The property's owner, Anna, consistently assists our guests with their needs, including check-in and check-out. Alongside her husband Ninu, Anna also ensures the property is clean and well-maintained.
Tonio
Tonio is responsible for managing the website, reservations, and accounts, and he also offers assistance with check-in and check-out, general cleaning, and any other necessary tasks. With nine years of experience in the tourism industry, both locally and abroad, Tonio is well-equipped to ensure that guests have a smooth and enjoyable stay at Madonnina.
Apart from his role at Madonnina, Tonio is currently reading for the Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Social Work degree at the University of Malta and is also working as a social support worker.
Marianna
Marianna has over a decade of experience in the tourism industry, working as a chef in top hotels and restaurants. She not only takes care of breakfast but also assists Anna with cleaning and any other necessary tasks.
